Beneficial Herbs
Water Lily
Scent: Lightly sweet with a hint of lemon.
Found in calm water, usually the edges of ponds or lakes. Flowers can be white, pink, or blue. The leaves and flowers are tethered to the water's bottom by long stems, all connecting to a bundle of roots.
Usage
Leaves: Pressed or gently rubbed on the skin.
Effect: Treats various skin conditions.
Sunflower (Seeds)
Scent: Faint. A mixture of carrion and honey.
Found anywhere with abundant sun and moist, well-drained soil. Seeds can be collected in large quantities, but are useless after they dry out too much.
Usage
Seeds: Pressed or chewed gently to extract oil.
Effect: The oil can be applied to wounds to assist healing.
